I took my car to a dealer for 30,000 mi service at about 29,500 mi. Now that it has turned 30,000, the SENSOR light indicating that the oxygen sensor in the emissions control needs attention. The dealer has assured me that the unit has been properly serviced; but it is inconvienent to return to have him turn the light off. Does anyone know how to reset the SENSOR light so that it goes off and comes back on again as it should at 60,000 mi? Its a 1981 COROLLA hatch back. Thanks a lot for your help. There should be a push button similar to a reset button on a TV circut breaker. To find this little unit, trace the speedo cable into the guts of the dash. Good luck.
