I have a '77 mustang with a V6 engine. The tach seems to work when it
feels like and is very irratic. The Ford shop manual shows it to be
connected on either end of the resistance wire going to the coil. I
have not been able to find where the connection on the keyswitch side
is, but the coil side seems to be ok. I took the dash apart and
disassembled the tach and it seems to be ok. This problem is driving
me nuts. If anyone has any suggestions please post a response or send
