An Irishman visited the doctor complaining of sore feet. Upon examining them the doctor requested that he keep off his feet as much as possible and to put on a new pair of socks everyday for a week. This he had done and by the 5th day the Irishman could not fit his shoes on. -- Edited by Brad Templeton.
