[net.auto] Caravan/Voyager opinions...

I've had a Caravan since March. I have almost 14,000 miles on it already, and
just had my first real problem (automatic choke isn't working - little tough
to start/keep started in the morning). My wife and I have enjoyed it quite
a bit - camping and the like. It is a bit sluggish up hills, but (I have
a 5-speed) you can always drop it into 4th... I've heard the automatic with
the 2.6-liter engine option is better for power.

I've averaged over 26 mpg (total combined driving - lots of each). I got the
LE with just 5 seats. The costs around here (southern NH) were (base sticker)
about $9,000 for the low end model, $9,300 for the SE, and $9,900 for the LE.
They were tacking on $1295 due to the demand, but luckily, I ordered it in
December, and avoided that cost. All in all, I feel it was worth it. They
should be getting some of the bugs out for the future models.

Oh yeah, the sliding van door is a bit tricky. You have to shut it a bit hard,
and if you do it too hard, the glass may break (mine did). That was a minor
inconvience, since the dealership handled it well. I guess they're working on
bettering that structure.
