<generic bug work-around line> The tailgate on my 1971 Mercury wagon has quit working. I can't open the tailgate as a door nor as a tailgate. The electric tailgate window is down and won't go up. When I try to open it as a tailgate, the upper right latch seems to release, but the tailgate still doesn't open. Do you have any ideas on how I can get myself out of this mess? I can't get the inside panel off either. Do you know if it is possible to remove it when the door is closed? Hopin' it don't rain soon, Tim Riordan (503) 629-1777,642-5049
