Question: Mail passed to our sendmail (5.59 from SCO) from the network (It is passed into sendmail with -f flag from our networking software, MHSnet) 95% of the time, generates an "Apparently-To:" header line, and the old header of the mail is stored AS PART OF THE MAIL MESSAGE.
