I recently purchased a 66 Mustang. It's completely stock. After having it for awhile, I've noticed that the front seems to ride lots higher than the rear. There a lots of old Mustangs around LA and I've noticed that the unlevel ride is extremely common in the 6 cylinder versions (no 289 emblem on the front fenders) and fairly uncommon in the V8 versions. Does anyone know if they were designed this way or if the extra weight of the 289 just wore down suspension components over the years. Any ideas will be welcome. I'm sure if I go to a mechanic they'll suggest new shocks, springs, tie rods, tires, and heavy duty front hub caps.
