I am unable to get the Paint desk accessory that comes with Windows/386 to print to either an IBM Proprinter or to an Apple LaserWriter. I have talked to Microsoft about the problem and their suggestions including turning spooling off, changing the resolution, were for naught. It still does not print. Has anyone been successful, and does anyone know if there is some trick that has to be done? Thanks.

I found that a work around was to activate the Print spooler icon, open print spooler window, and then try to print the paint image. For whatever reason, this seems to work.

This work around does not work with Windows/386 version 2.1 running on PS/2 model 80 machines. Paint still doesn't print. All it does is eject a blank page.
