Does anyone know if there is a VI editor that runs as a MS window program? I have grown accustomed to this editor and other programmer type editors just doesn't cut it. Now that I am running windows I would like to have the editor be a window as well (I don't like the screen swapping, not to mention unsizeable window). Has this Unix editor been ported? -OR- is there a way to get the vi editor to run in a window? This editor uses UN*X-type termcap files. It seems to run acceptably if the PIF grants it at least 192kb program space (recommended in the PC/VI manual). Upscrolling is 'clear and repaint' and downscrolling can be slow. Do not use the 186 version. Dan Brodzik (brodzik@noao.edu) National Optical Astronomy Observatories Tucson, Arizona
