HELP !!! I just got the shape-dragging and rubber banding stuff working for a diagram editor I'm working on and I've come across a nasty performance problem: All tracking is done using "R2_NOT" raster op and MoveTo/LineTo pairs. If ALL of the vectors are UNCLIPPED then everything is O.K. However, CLIPPED vectors which are NOT horizontal or vertical seem to take an inordinate amout of time to display (read "the tracking goes for the shits"). This effect is seen on a PS/2 under Windows/386 (v2.10) when running with VGA. It doesn't appear when running the 8514 Windows. Is there ANY way to solve this??? (A clipping mode perhaps) Please e-mail replies (I'm not sure the path works...I don't get much email from exotic places (Like Toronto :-)). If you bounce, please post a quickie to at least let me know that the message is getting out.
