Anyone know of the address for Netlogic? I believe they make a Windows package which implements DDE across networks, true? Anyone has experience with this package? NetLogic can be reached at 212 989 5051. Their address is: Netlogic, Inc. 232 West 15th St. 3rd Floor NY, NY 10011 The product that you are interested in is known as DDEX. I am using it here and it seems to work quite well except for one problem. It is unclear whether the problem is in the DDEX software or the NetBIOS emulator provided by Novell but there is no way to terminate a connection without hanging both the server and the client. The people at NetLogic have told me that they are working on a Novell specific version of DDEX that will use IPX/SPX instead of NetBIOS. I am hoping that this will take care of the problems that I am experiencing. If you call them ask for Brett Schlussman or Michael St. Hippolite and feel free to let them know that you learned about their product from me. Just for your information there is another company that has a similar product. DaVinci Systems has a product called DDENet that works almost exactly like NetLogic's DDEX. You can reach DaVinci Systems at 919 839 2000. Their address is: DaVinci Systems Corporation P.O. Box 5442 Raleigh, NC 27650 I have not been able to get DDENet to work at all with our product although DDENet's test programs work fine on our network. Since our product works fine with DDEX (except for the terminate problem) I have to think it is something wrong with their product (DDENet) although I have not actually determined that this is the case. If you call them ask to speak to Chris Evans or someone working on their DDENet product. Again feel free to let them know that you learned about their product from me. I hope this helps.
