I am in the latter stages of specifications for a system that will include two novell lans. Developers on the first and classroom and administrative stations on the second. I am considering a wide variety of MS Windows applications that provide menu support, printer selection, integrated fax/email communications, office automation (scheduling, group tasking, etc.), image scanning, etc. A prototype network will be setup to test all of the components and their interactions before the production network is installed. The only similar system that I have heard about is at Hanover Trust (PC Week Aug. ?). They did not mention specific problems. If you have such a system in place, know of someone who does, or simply know about some of the 'Gotchas' associated with a Windows/Novell setup, I would appreciate hearing from you.
