[Some stuff about Windows 3.0 and whether anyone could confirm or deny its
existance]

The best anyone can (or should do) is tell you that magazine articles have
been written about it. Whether that says it exists (or will exist) is up to
you to decide (or up to Microsoft).

[Some stuff about Windows 3.0 and whether anyone could confirm or deny its
existance]

I recently read an article about Windows 3.0 in a computer resaler's magazine.
It said that Microsoft had been plans to introduce *ALL* multi-media apps and
hooks for Windows before OS/2. The article went on to say that Windows support
for CDROMS, midi boards, sound, speech, and Animation may become reality
even before Windows 3.0. Even PC Magazine is saying fantastic things about
the unreleased Windows 3.0. I really wish it would show up soon.

On a related issue, Microsoft is suppose to be working on a DLL that will
allow Windows programs to run unchanged under OS/2(PM).

We shall see.....
