We have had to use 386TOtheMAX w/ Windows/286 to gain more RAM. Windows/386 with Novell 2.15 will run fine, as long as you have 3Mb or more of RAM, since you will need Expanded Memory for your apps. For '286 machines use 386MAX and 386LOAD or QEMM to gain more RAM by moving the EMS page frame and Token Ring adaptor page frame around (we are using Token Ring, 4Mb). It probably works better with smart Ethernet cards (ie. EtherLink Plus from 3COM) as these cards can offload some or most of the MAC layer drivers.
