I am looking around for an expanded memory card for an AT clone. I want to run Windows 286. I am trying to find something cheaper than the AST products. I notice that Everex has two cards, the RAM 8000 and the RAM 10000. They claim that the 8000 supports multitasking, but that the 10000 doesn't. (The 8000 is about twice as much). What does this mean? If expanded memory is being bank-switched, how does it know whether or not it is multi-tasking?
