[comp.windows.ms] DDE links with WinOldAp

hadgraft@civeng.monash.edu.au (Roger Hadgraft) (09/13/89)

Has anyone experimented with the DDE links with WinOldAp? They are documented in
the SDK following the DDE chapters. Specifically they allow menus and macros to
be added to old applications. It all works fine under Windows/286, but it
appears as if these DDE links were omitted from WinOldAp in Windows/386.

Has anyone got any information about this?

Please excuse my naivete here, but I read those sections and I am actually
confused as to what an WinOldApp is - is it a DOS program or a program written
perhaps for a now antiquated version of Windows?

Thanks
