I have been reading this newsgroup for a short while, and All I seem to see are microsoft windows stuff. Now, I may be barking up the wrong tree, (the "ms" is supposed to stand for MS-DOS, not Microsoft, in the newsgroup name :-) ) but are there any public domain GEM applications out there? Maybe the lack of traffic is indicitive of the popularity of GEM? Anybody got any ideas on how to write programs using GEM, but without buying the programmers toolkit? Any GEM/IMG files floating around? Should I see the light, and get some other windowing product? I used to be a "Mr. X", and a frequent suntools user on my sun during my last reincarnation; now I have access only to GEM at my new place of employment. I am not really an expert in windowing technology, so please excuse any misusses of the terminology. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks. John Stewart
