Environment Variables I haven't yet found a program which will allow me to modify my environment variables while using Windows. I tried EE2.COM but it didn't work. Batch files also don't work. I assume that one needs to modify the copy of the environment which WIndows was given when it started. It will not be possible (I assume) to expand this copy of the environment. However, assuming that that is the case, does anyone have any clues as to how to find the original Windows environment and modify it. I have a program from Petzold's book which reads the environment, but all my experiments at modifying the environment have failed. I assume that the program is simply reading a copy of the original Windows environment, which is in turn, a copy of the master environment which DOS maintains.
