I'm looking for information about something called Commonview, which apparently is a multi-platform development system using C++ on at least X, MS-Windows, and PM. Thanks for any information you can give. -- Kevin A. Mitchell (312) 266-4485 Datalogics, Inc Internet: kam@dlogics.UUCP 441 W. Huron UUCP: ..!uunet!dlogics!kam Chicago, IL 60610 FAX: (312) 266-4473

CommonView is a Glockenspiel product marketed by a company call ImageSoft in NY. We have the package and their listed phone is 516-767-2233. As far as I know it is available for both Windows and PM. I haven't heard that X is available. They've had their hands full with the first two.

The last I talked to ImageSoft they were looking at a November release of CommonView over Motif/X and CommonView for the Mac. Windows and PM will have a major upgrade in early November including a rewritten user manual containing example uses of each class as well as enhanced support for GDI functionality.

Can anybody give a brief review of CommonView? It would be nice if this were done by sombody that actually used the PM or Window version. The fact that an X/motif and mac version will be available is definitely enticing. -- Marco -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= uucp:...!pollux!papa BIX:papa ARPAnet:pollux!papa@oberon.usc.edu "There's Alpha, Beta, Gamma, Diga and Caligari!" -- Rick Unland -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
