There is a compiler called dB/Fast by Bumblebee Software. They have it available in both text and Windows versions. See "Data Based Advisor" for ads/prices, etc.

Mark - You may want to check out Superbase 2 & Superbase 4, as well as Q+E. All can read dBase x files. SB2 is more of a flat file manager program. Superbase 4 is supposed to be more like dBase4, ie: relational, programmable, etc. Q+E provides excellent Windows DDE support. SB2 & 4 are from Precision Software in Texas.
