[comp.windows.ms] Windows Metafiles and Background Color

Question:  Is there somethings I should know about MSWindows Metafiles
           and the function SetBkColor?

I have created a simple metafile (just a square, and an ellipse) that
has a background color.  I set the background color with SetBkColor.
I created the metafile as a disk metafile, then played it.

No background color.  Why?  I have tried this with other programs that
generate background colors and had the same thing happen.  I always lose
the background color when I transfer the metafiles over the clipboard too.
