Someone put a message here asking about debugging with a PS/2. I use a Model 70 and a pc running procomm+ attached to the com port. That works ok. I have 3mb of 'extented' memory so I have to go through the win386 as a new command interpreter jazz the start code view. This is a real pain... Besides, quite frequently the machine hangs up, sometimes errors are printed to the screen which are not in the manuals. I have called Microsoft and then they usually give a list of about 5-10 possible problems. Hence, I have taken a 3 month break from doing MS Windows development. (We have 30,000 lines of code in Petroleum Enginerring Applications). Forget everything I said before (snl), what I mean to say is that I think MS Windows is somewhat nicer that programming in X (Xt,Xaw) with the debugger and tools, although X is much more powerful, but the idea of programming in environments that have bugs has burned me out for a while. I do not like being a testing mechanism for an organization (especially those who make money selling products). My plans are to retire from windows development; just until I get Windows 3.0 and Motif. Then I will develop and debug these products. /*------------Thanks in advance...---------------------------------------+ | Peter C.
