Can someone tell me whether any of our Windows 2 software will work under Windows 3? I know there are changes in memory management since W3 works in protected mode. But, do we have to junk all the Windows software that we've collected and start again, or is it only large applications such as Excel etc that will be seriously affected. We've all heard the jokes about the fact that Windows 3 hasn't been announced etc. We also all know that it exists. I understood originally that version 2 applications would run, but would not be able to make use of the new memory management. However, in recent times there has been a rumour that none of the version 2 programs would work under version 3. -- Roger Hadgraft | hadgraft@civeng.monash.edu.au Lecturer in Civil Engineering | phone: +61 3 565 4983 Monash University | fax: +61 3 565 3409 Clayton, Vic. 3168.
