#N::72500001:000:871 !mls Oct 16 09:29:00 1984 I have a 1985 Buick Park Lane that was bought in April 84. It has developed a problem that the dealer can not fix. The car has about 10000 miles on it. It has a four speed transmission with the torque converter lockup. At 45 mph in the normal Drive position, when you are on a slight incline up and depress the throttle slightly, the car vibrates. Releasing the throttle and it stops. It you depress it more, but not floored it also stops. I assume at that point it is not downshifting but the torque converter lock is removed. It is more pronounced at 55 in the top Drive position. It was in the shop for two days and the only thing the work order showed was a can of GUMOUT. They thought maybe it was missing due to a dirty fuel injector. I would appreciate any comments you have. Irv McNair ATT Bell Labs 1E 212 Whippany NJ 07981 201-386-4162 whuxc!imm
