Hi ho, Has anyone experience with the various font managers (and FONTS) that are available for Win 3? I saw several in last week's PC Week, but I threw it away. Oh well. Oh, how about a real cheap 3d Cad program? rob -- -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- "Unix has its weak points, but its file system is not one of them." -Chris Torek rob rob@asrcmv.albany.edu or rds95@leah.albany.edu I have no idea what the uucp path to me is.

I just got back from Comdex/Atlanta.
Zsoft's new SoftType looks really good. It's made for Win3.0 and can
add or delete fonts at any time (unlike Bitstream). The output on
a LaserJet III was spectacular. Unfortunately, the fonts are bitmaps
and only scalable in Postscript.
The package lists for $169 (?), but I am told it retails for less.
They don't have a demo disk but the literature shows it well.

Soft Warehouse carries it for $119. BUT, as I mentioned before, AMI PRO/AMI users will currently be disapointed because a bug in SoftType creates fonts that can't be justified.
