I had problems with Terminal but know realize that it only occurs through our switcher...something about 7 bit vs. 8 bit...I am not sure but when I bypass the switcher everything works fine. Question 1: Can I create/modify the standard icons used in program manager? Question(s) 2: I haven't heard anything about using SDK for win3. What goes? Is it still under wraps? Is the programming philosophy the same? (i.e. big switch statements or callbacks). How does the new memory access change a design? What kind of development tools are there? (i.e. dialog box editor, spy, heapwalk, ...) Comment: Yes, win3 is awesome...It isn't getting in my way...I leave it on and use it! But what about the development environment. I never did get codeview to run correctly in debug mode in win386. I would get weird undocumented errors and had to call MS. They never could give me one answer, only a list of possibilities. I had to scrap it and use printfs (MessageBox). What a pain for 30,000 lines of code! And the non-deterministic font management seemed to make every development attempt a small venture into text/word formatting/processing! STILL, FROM A DEVELOPMENT POINT OF VIEW, I STILL HAVE TO LEAVE ALL OF THE NEAT WIN SOFTWARE TO DEVELOP! WIN4? I hope the discussion moves from using to programming with win3 in the future. /*----------- Thanks in advance... --------------------------------------+ | Peter C.
