           Yes Wale, the United Nations for years warned Ethiopia about cutting
 down trees, and the inevitable famine; but the marxist regime there paid no
 attention and now they have it. I, personally cannot see sending them aid.
 I think we should let nature run it's course.

I sure hate to come to the defense of a bunch of commies, but the problems in
Ethiopia predate the present regieme by a number of years.  You can certainly
blame them for making matters worse (especially in the areas controlled by the
rebels), but the previous government also ignored all the doomsayers.
