Sorry if this has been covered before:

I am using MicroEMACS 3.10 for the PC, and it works just dandy except when
I try setting the background to white. (Wow! I just came up with this
black letters on white background metaphor, and am going to sue Apple for
it!). Well, If I do so, the letters start blinking! What gives?

And while other people are complaining about DOS programs that run
not so perfectly under Windows 3.0, here's a new one - the above problem
GOES AWAY if I run microEMACS in a window under windows 3.0!!!

BTW, I am using a Mylex 386 20MHz with a Paradise +16 VGA card (256K). The
problem is present in both standard VGA mode and in 50 line VGA mode.
Monitor is NEC 3D.

Thanks!

Milan.
