Ok everyone. I've got a request here. I'm more than happy to receive and take care of all the literature requests I get, but in order to ensure that you get the proper information I need a few things. The main thing I need is something stating what you are. So far I've sent the corporate literature to anyone that has provided a company name, faculty literature to anyone that includes a college name, and student literature to anyone that just gives an address. I'm sure that some of the latter were just individuals and have received student info. We also have a separate setup for government institutions so you should mention being such if appropriate. It would also help to have a phone number. We sort our data base using area codes within a state and it will ensure that we can do proper followup if you provide a phone number. On the level of personal intersted, I'd like to hear what kinds of things people are doing out there. Are you a company that is migrating to Windows? Are you interested in XWindows? PM? Macintosh? How many programmers, if any, do you have doing Windows development? Etc. Such information will help us to know what's going on out there and what types of things people are interested in. I'll be more than happy to post results (as % doing this, % doing that with no names and, if specified the information will be held in strictest confidence) if people are interested in what's what in Windows development. Thank's for helping with this. -- "Organized fandom is composed of a bunch of nitpickers with a thing for trivial pursuit." -Harlan Ellison Patrick Deupree -> patrickd@chinet.chi.il.us
