[comp.windows.ms] Wierd behavior in Windows 386 2.11

kevinc@cs.AthabascaU.CA (Kevin Crocker) (07/05/90)

Hi, I've noticed a rather strange repeatable problem in Windows 386
(Please no comments about getting Windows 3.0, it is on order).
Whenever I try to load paint as the first program after starting win386
I get a "Not enough Memory to run" error. Hoever, when I load
something else then exit, then load paint everything works just fine.

I have nothing real special in win.ini and all I load at startup is the
calendar and a clock. Help, what am I doing wrong and can I fix it?

Thanks in advance, please e-mail.
Kevin
