Hi. I am wanting to run Windows 3.0 on my 286 AT machine, but I caqn only get it to run in Real mode. I have a Kamerman Labs AT running at a blinding 8mhz, with a total of 1 meg on the mother board. (IE no extra memory). I am able to make a SmartDrive with the memory above 640k. When I try to run in Standard mode (using the command: win /s , the Windows blue title page displays and then nothing happens. I then have to power down the system to re-boot (ctrl-alt-del doesn't do it). I am running with Award Software AT Bios Version 1.05 and a Basic Time EGA card. I am using Microsoft DOS version 3.2 If you can point me to how to run in Standard mode (without adding more memory, if that is possible), please reply or email me at crm@icad.com. Thanks, - Chris crm@icad.com
