[comp.windows.ms] Windows-3, ATI, AMIPRO

What I'm seeing of Windows 3 indicates that everybody will soon be using
it, big gains in speed and functionality. Various combinations of
things will present problems for a while though. Does anybody know
anything about the combination I'm mentioning here, ATI VGA Wonder with
800x600x16 drivers, Windows 3, and AMIPRO? The new version of AMIpro
isn't out just yet, but the old version running with Win /r yeilds a few
funny results. PCX images generated with the old system don't work, and
the image-resizing feature doesn't seem to work.

I'd appreciate any info anybody might have.

AMI Pro for Win 3.0 >has< been out for a while: I have had my updates
for several weeks. I have the ATI Wonder, but havn't been able to
get the x16 driver installed properly yet. The current driver is
x4. Except for a few Win 3 glitches, everything seems to run just fine.
About the PCX stuff, I can't say, as I mostly use TIFF. Try a PCX to
 Tiff converter?

Correction: The Windows 3.0 version of AMIpro IS out. I got my
upgrade a couple of weeks ago. (Price $10).
