This is an interesting solution to the problem with clock.spx. The only question I have is 'why does clock work on my PS2/50 (286) and not on my DTK 386?'. I'm running clock.exe as an icon on both machines. Clock.spx gets corrupted on the 386 and corrupts several other spx files and generally results in rather flakey behavior. On the 286, all is fine! Hmm... I may have just answered my own question. My windows dir is not in my path on the 286 but is on the 386. Oh well. Another question... I've looked and looked in both Rev 2 SDK manuals and Rev 3 users manual for info on WIN.INI. Is this something one is just born with or is there a reference somewhere that I'm missing? (I don't have the SDK3 yet... not one of the priveleged few.) -- Hardy J. Pottinger Department of Electrical Engineering, University of MO - Rolla Voice: (314) 341-4520 Internet: hjp@ee.umr.edu
