I have ordered a copy of Windows 3.0 and understand it will permit me to operate my mailer (FrontDoor 2.00/beta) in the background. My dos mail system runs with an HST, bus locked at 38400. BNU V1.7 is the FOSSIL driver of choice. I have heard that Windows will not support speeds the system supports without special drivers - since 1685cps speeds are an absolute must, I'd like to find out what the story is before the new application arrives. My system uses an external HST and 16550 UART. Does anyone have experience runnning high speed modems under Windows 3.0? Anyone familiar with the drivers required, or where I might be able to request them? -- 1B Systems Management Limited, Nanaimo, British Columbia | kmcvay@oneb.uucp Canadian Distributor: FrontDoor Automated Mail Systems
