Ok, I've tried just about all the conversion programms to get a gif pic converted to bmp for backgrounds. (gif2bmp, gws, grafwk, etc ad nausem). Problem is, I have no control over the colors that get mapped when a 256 color is squashed to 16 colors. (yes, I do have a 512k vga, but its so slow in 256!!!!). Anyone know of an easy way to control/convert the colors so when I convert my favorite pinup, she doesn't get turned into a bad acid-trip? Please E-Mail, it cuts down on the bandwith/wagon /----------------------------------------------------------------------------\ | Scott "gaspo" Gasparian - Teenage Mutant Ninja Technician | | || | S | | Supercomputer Computations Research Institute | | \\||// | C | | gasparian@gw.scri.fsu.edu | "So, where excactly DID my | ===>><<=== R | | gaspo@vsserv.scri.fsu.edu | socks go to in the dryer? | | //||\\ | I | | (904) 644-4277 / 222-5630 | Are they happier now?" -me | | || | | \----------------------------------------------------------------------------/
