I'm using Windows 3 with a Novell network, and it's network awareness is a great improvement over Windows 2. However, it never makes any network connections permanent. This means that I have to setup the environment every morning (or leave the machine on I suppose). I have 2 things in mind. One is the binding between local ports and network printers, and the second is enabling the display of system messages (handy for being notified of new mail in particular). I've already recorded macros to do these things. Does anyone have any other ideas? -- Roger Hadgraft | hadgraft@civeng.monash.edu.au Lecturer in Civil Engineering | Monash University | phone: +61 3 565 4983 Clayton, Vic. 3168.
