I just FTP'd the ATI win3 drivers from the cica.cica.indiana.edu and installed them into windows. Now when I type win/3 to make my 386 run in enhanced mode, I get the error "invalid himem.sys install himem.sys from windows disks" and I get the dos prompt back. If i run the win.exe I can get into windows in the 800x600 or the 1024x768 mode the display looks good, but it is not in the 386 enhanced mode. What is all this about the himem.sys problems? I never had these troubles when I had it configured for VGA - now even if I try to configure it for VGA again, I still get the error.
