#N::72500002:000:625 !mls Nov 1 17:15:00 1984 I have seen an ad for a device that fits on the car bumper that produces a supersonic whistle at speeds above 30 mph. It is supposed to scare off deer and other animals that may run into a car, particular at night. Does anybody know how effective they are? In the last two months deer have done damage to the car when driving at night and I could not see them until it was too late. With respect to storing car batteries, it has been stated they should be fully charged. In addition while being stored they should also be trickled charged, otherwise the battery will self discharge.
