I have been following with interest all of the discussions of the ways in which it is possible to program in Windows without getting your feet wet, Actor | Asymetrics(sp) Toolkit, but no one is talking about "real" application development. Both of the previously mentioned products are far too slow for for any serious applications if the examples I have seen are any indication. Have any of you serious Windows developers found any tools that make developing Windows products easier (and faster hopefully)? I just purchased my Windows 3.0 SDK and XVT from Graphic Software Systems. Have any of you used XVT to develop windows applications, were they easier to debug, faster to code, easier to architect, etc? Has anyone used Softbridge's Bridge Toolkit to integrate DOS programs and build Windows batch files? A company that I am consulting for just bought it and I can't figure out why anyone would need this overpriced product. If you have developed an application in Bridge please let me know what it was and why you chose bridge. thanks in advance gls -- -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Gary L.
