Help! I just got my brand-new Windows 3.0, and have encountered a problem already. I am using it in the enhanced mode on a 386, running DOS 4.01, with an internal modem configured for the COM3 port. When I try to use the "Terminal" application to access the modem, COM3 is not recognized. It does recognize COM1, but I don't want to tie up an external serial port. I've been told that Windows 3.0 will not work with COM3, but there is nothing in the documentation about this. Can anyone confirm or refute this? Also, if this is true, what options exist to use the modem without utilizing an external serial port? Thanks for any assistance . ...bill
