I just ordered the Ventura Publisher program that runs under MS Windows. I haven't gotten it yet but their technical support people tell me that on screen support font support is limited. I have a Postscript printer and would like to be able to see the fonts on screen as they would print. Unfortunately, Adobe screen fonts for windows seem to start at $125.00 per font and go up from there. Aside from the fact that I've already got Postscript fonts in my printer and don't like paying for them twice, the price for buying all the screen fonts would exceed the price of the printer. What I'd like to get is a list of commercial or PD screen fonts for windows. If you email me, I will summarize and post to the net. -jaz e-mail: jaz%icd.ab.com@uunet.uu.net

Some utility to convert the screen fonts, which includes a large number of fonts from Adone, Bitstream and numerous others, in the X distribution from MIT to Windows screen fonts would be very, very handy... -- Robert Claeson |Reasonable mailers: rclaeson@erbe.se ERBE DATA AB | Dumb mailers: rclaeson%erbe.se@sunet.se | Perverse mailers: rclaeson%erbe.se@encore.com These opinions reflect my personal views and not those of my employer (ask him).
