I have been using EGAUTIL8 with WIN3, and am wondering what is the best way to get the screen blanked. COMMENTS ??? Do I run EGAWUTIL from Windows (and how ?) or do I run EGAUTIL from DOS ?? Stanley Wasserman stanwass@uiuc.edu

I downloaded EGAUTIL8 a few days ago to do screen-blanking in DOS and Windows. It works Great (so far). You first run EGAUTIL from DOS (which apparantly loads a TSR). Then, you add EGAWUTIL.EXE to the Load= line in WIN.INI. This apparently loads a DLL that traps Windows mouse movements and communicates with the TSR. EGAWUTIL does NOT appear as an ICON in Windows. I guess that's because it's a DLL. There should be documentation with EGAUTIL8 that describes all this. Reed Jacobson reedj@hplsla
