I have an old Gemini 10X printer, and unfortunately windows 3.0 does not support this widely sold machine. The Generic/Text Only printer driver offers the opportunity to modify the driver by feeding it the control codes for 10, 12 and 17 characters per inch, and for double width printing. I have tried modifying the driver to call up different print sizes, using the codes in my Gemini manual. However, I can't get anything but the printer defaults when printing from Word for Windows. Printer codes *are* being sent to the printer, which can be verified by telling the driver that the code for instance to start 17 cpi printing is "xyz". "xyz" will then be printed in the appropriate place in the output. Any ideas on how to get this to work? -- Bruce Dunn Vancouver, Canada a752@mindlink.UUCP
