I want to write some C code that accesses an SQL server and loads data directly into Microsoft Excel. Excel has a couple of macros that allow access to .DLL files, but I need to be able to create .DLLs, and it appears I need LINK4. Is this true; if so, how do I get it without buying the entire Windows Dev kit (FTP? SIMTEL?); do I need to know anything about Windows programming to write non-Windows code in a DLL? I have Windows 3.0, MSC 6.0; MASM on order. Thank you, people. -- Peter Mayne (Systems Object) Peter@ECC.TasEd.Oz.Au Elizabeth Computer Centre +----------------------------- Link Rd, Claremont |This brain intentionally left Tasmania, 7011, Australia |blank.
