Even though I selected a Logitech Bus mouse in the installation, I notice that win3 ignores the 3rd button, (Middle one). I wrote an App that used the middle button if it is there, but the WM_MBUTTONDOWN(?) message is not being sent. Anyone know what I have done wrong in the installation?? Any magic incantations in the system.ini file that will fix this?? It used to work in Win 2.11!! I know the MS mouse only has two buttons, but it is wrong to assume only MS mice are being used. BTW I have only tried this in enhanced mode, I'm not interested in using real or standard mode. Also this is an App for me, so It won't be going out to people who only have 2 button mice (Although I can see that an App might want to make use of the 3rd button if it is there, and supply a reasonable alternative if it is not) Thanks. -- Jim Morris. {motcsd|weitek}!dms!morris or morris@dms.UUCP Voice (408) 434-3798 Atari Games Corporation, 675 Sycamore Drive, Milpitas CA 95035 USA (Arcade Video Game Manufacturer, NOT Atari Corp. What mouse driver did you choose when you installed Windows 3.0? If I remember the notes on the Logitech Bus mouse, you're supposed to set it up as a MS mouse - which only has two buttons. The driver only supports two. If you set up a non-MS mouse driver, than this may not apply. Mark

Logitech says that they are preparing a windows 3 mouse driver that will support the middle button. The Microsoft supplied driver does not recognize the middle button. Logitech gave no ETA.
