We are using PC-NFS fron SUN to connect our PC:s to our Apollo network. Under Windows 2.xx everything worked fine, both the access off network drives and printing. Unfortunately this is not the case with windows 3.0. We still can access the network drives, although we get a message when starting the file manager that it can't access the currently unmounted network drives, but the real problem is that we can't get the printing to work using PC-NFS. Has anybody had the same problem and, more importantly, does anybody have a solution to the printer problem. Yes, I have the same problem. One work around is to print onto a file and then netprint the files. Kludgy, I know, but.... Peter Knight

>Has anybody had the same problem and, more importantly, >does anybody have a solution to the printer problem. Instead of setting the printer to LPT1 use LPT1.OS2, I don't know why but this seems to satisfy it. -- Tony Bishop Computer Centre A.G.Bishop@massey.ac.nz Massey University Palmerston North, N.Z.
