Does anyone know the status of the logitech scan package
running under Windows 3.0 ? I just bought the package
and the wscan.exe program won't run under windows 3.0
in native mode. (I havn't tried it in real mode)

I contacted Logitech in Switzerland. I was told they have no plans to
rewrite the winscan.exe
code to run under windows 3.0 native & 386 enh mode. I think that if
enough of us, owners of
ScanMan, get together and ask for an update, we might get it.

Jusqt after Win3 came out, I asked Logitech about winscan.exe and
they told me that there would be an update during the first quarter
of next year.

Thay were waiting for some sort of Scanner Standard to be written.

Their new grayscale hand scanner comes with an new "scanner" program,
Ansel <Something-or-Other> that runs under Windows 3.0. It supports
 "stitching", grayscales, etc.
