Concerning paying at unattended Garden State Parkway Toll Booths: >OK, 'fess up... Do you??? >Replys will be held in strict confidence. >H.G. Page >..!ihnp4!houem!hgp Whenever I am in New Jersey on a business trip, I always pay for the tolls at the unattended toll booths. I figure if I don't pay, they will make me stay in New Jersey the rest of my life (yech!). :-) Actually, anything south of Newark is pretty nice country. Your'e damn right I pay at unattended phone booths. I consider those who don't to be sniveling, chicken-necked, boobs who would probably steal their grandmother's social security checks. The greatest proportion of the money colleted on the GSP is used to improve the highway. (Noticed all the building the last two years?) To drive through without paying is theft of services. The Gsp is supported by those who use it. Taxes are not used to pay for it. I get pretty damn mad when I see these pasty-faced little goons in their BMWs and Mercedes zipping through without paying. Who the Hell do they think pays for the maintenance and improvements? Not dropping a lousy quarter in the bin is the supreme act of selfishness and MEism. An act such as this is a real statement of your distaste for society isn't it? How stupid can you get? If those who zip through are so cheap, use the back roads. T. C. Wheeler
