[comp.windows.ms] Windows FONTS

kipnis@janus.Berkeley.EDU (Gary Kipnis) (12/02/89)

Hi, when I change the current window font from normal to bold
the characters get wider and I have to compensate for this extra
width, is there a fixed_size font that doesn't do this.
I've tried system and courier fonts.

Thank you,

gary

Does anyone know where I can get HP LaserJet Fonts for Windows 3.0? I
am partciularly looking for the Helvetica and the Times Roman
fonts...the two most common (yea, right) fonts...Thanks!

HP Laserjet screen fonts are supplied with Windows 3.0. To install them
open the printer icon on the control panel, select HP Laserjet from the list
of printers, and click the install button. You will be prompted to insert
the fonts disk (disc no.5) in drive a: - the fonts and driver are there.
