I have just been given a "minor" assignement: to convert an existing internal demo program that runs under Windows 2.1 to run under the runtime version of Windows 2.1. I have only a couple of days to do this, since "it should be simple". Now I am getting a feeling that I may be in deep trouble with this. Facts: 1) This is an internal-only demo program and there are no plans to run it under Windows 3.0. 2) I have seen a commercial runtime Windows 2.1 programs some time ago, but I have no idea what is involved in creating a run-time version of a windows program. 3) I have searched all places known to me for some information about #2 above (SDK 2.1, Windows286, Petzold, etc.) but found nothing. 4) I know that MS discontinued support for the runtime version of Windows but my boss does not to care about such minor details. 5) I need HELP!! Questions: 1) How do I create a Windows 2.1 runtime version of a program? 2) If I need additional software (like runtime version of Windows 2.1), where do I get it? Any information would be greatly appreciated. Peter Pavlovcik peter@cbnews.att.com peter@iexist.att.com att!iexist!peter
